Professor Toula Onoufriou was invited speaker at the “Energy Security in the 21st Century “ panel in the MED Rome 2020 – Mediterranean Dialogues which took place in Rome on the 5-7 of December 2019. Other panelists included the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of Egypt, Tarek El-Molla and Sun Xiansheng, Secretary General of the International Energy Forum.
Professor Onoufriou was also invited to participate in the high-level Women’s Forum organised at the same event on “Power & Skills – Women Making the Difference in the Mediterranean Region”. The forum was lead by Elisabetta Belloni, Secretary General Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy and participants included Tawakkol Karman, Nobel Peace Prize winner in 2011.
