Initiation and coordination (Coordinator – Toula Onoufriou) of the Joint Industry Funded Research and Development Programme on “Development and Implementation of Safety Regime for Offshore Oil and Gas Operations in Cyprus”. The programme was funded by Major Oil Operators and Offshore Contractors operating in Cyprus and included participation of seven Ministries of the Republic of Cyprus as well as regional collaboration with stakeholders in the region.
